Xiaomi seized the opportunity to provide durable and efficient tech solutions to the Tropical Storm Kristine-affected community in the province
Xiaomi Philippines, in collaboration with World Vision, successfully concluded this year’s Xiaomi Renovation Program, extending vital support to Bula Elementary School in Camarines Sur. The school had suffered extensive damage due to Tropical Storm Kristine.
The destructive impact of the severe tropical storm left Bula Elementary School without vital learning resources, including notebooks, chairs, and computers. Acknowledging the urgent need for support, Xiaomi stepped in to supply durable and efficient tech solutions to help the school and its students recover and flourish.
Typically, the Xiaomi Renovation Program is a global initiative offering fans the chance to win a free home makeover and upgrades with Xiaomi’s AIoT products. However, in light of the devastating effects of the typhoon, Xiaomi Philippines chose to dedicate this year’s program to rebuilding and supporting Bula Elementary School.
The Xiaomi Renovation Program has revitalized Bula Elementary School, transforming it into a modern learning hub equipped with cutting-edge technology, including Xiaomi TVs, Xiaomi 14 smartphones, Redmi Pad SE 8.7 tablets, LED monitors, and vacuum cleaners. These devices play a pivotal role in enhancing multimedia learning and ensuring access to diverse educational content.
Through this initiative, Xiaomi aims to empower both students and teachers, fostering a more interactive and effective learning experience. This effort reflects Xiaomi’s dedication to smart living and its commitment to leveraging technology to enrich lives.
“We are proud to support the recovery efforts in Bicol through this year’s Xiaomi Renovation Program,” shared Tomi Adrias, Head of Marketing at Xiaomi Philippines. “Education is the foundation of a brighter future, and we hope our contributions will empower and inspire students to achieve their full potential.”
