Last May 22, Star Records released Xian Lim’s 2nd album titled “XL2” at the McDonalds Quezon Avenue. It was attended by the press and bloggers.
According to Xian, this 2nd album is extra special and literally too personal for him because it carries three of his original songs. Xian started his singing career last 2012 with his now certified gold record “So It’s You”.
“Recording them really made the process more exciting and emotional at the same time. Because it gave me the chance to set the standards and put my full emotion in my renditiions”, he said.
Of the 3 original songs “Alay Ko Sa ‘Yo”, “Ibigin”, and “Kung ‘Di Sa Iyo” which was one of the official theme songs of the ABS-CBN series “Ina Kapatid Anak”, where he and Kim Chiu starred and paired together.
Other songs in the album are original tracks “Di Bale”, “Keep in Mind (K.I.M.)”, “Ikaw Na”, “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo”, and the carrier single “Pag May Time”.
A cover song of the OPM classic song of Marco Sison, “Si Aida, si Lorna o si Fe” is also included in the track list.
“XL2” is now available in music stores nationwide for Php 250. You can download also the tracks via iTunes, www.amazon.com, www.mymusicstore.com.ph and www.starmusic.ph.
