Awards season is heating up, and the highly anticipated 30th Critics Choice Awards is set to honor the best in film and television. Streaming live exclusively on Lionsgate Play in the Philippines, this star-studded event promises an unforgettable night of entertainment.

Originally scheduled for January 13, the awards were postponed due to the recent wildfires in Los Angeles. Now, the show will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on February 8, with comedian Chelsea Handler returning as host for the third consecutive year.

What to Expect at the 30th Critics Choice Awards

Television

FX’s Shōgun leads the nominations with six nods, including Best Drama Series, while Abbott Elementary, Disclaimer, Hacks, The Diplomat, The Penguin, and What We Do in the Shadows each earned four. Other notable contenders include Nobody Wants This, Only Murders in the Building, and Baby Reindeer, all with three nominations.

Film

On the film side, Wicked and Conclave dominate with 11 nominations each, including Best Picture and Best Director. Ralph Fiennes (Conclave) and Cynthia Erivo (Wicked) are among the top acting nominees, alongside Ariana Grande, recognized for her supporting role in Wicked.

Meanwhile, Dune: Part Two joins the race with ten nominations, competing against Emilia Pérez and The Brutalist, which secured ten and nine nods, respectively. Other notable films include Gladiator II (four nominations), Anora (seven), and The Substance (seven).
