Fresh from his involvement with the 1999 WRITE THE FUTURE music collective, where he collaborated on five tracks with Offset, Amaarae, De La Soul, Cuco, and MILLI for the album “Hella” Warren Hue releases his latest single, “SPLIT.”
Available now via 88rising along with an official music video, “SPLIT” sees the 21-year-old rising star delving introspectively into the highs and lows of maintaining a cross-country relationship. “SPLIT is a song that I wrote detailing an experience in a long-distance relationship,” Warren shared. “I wanted to create a song based on split lifestyles and how pressure and insecurity can affect your emotions. Trust is a significant theme in the song, urging my significant other to believe in me, and vice versa.” The accompanying day-in-the-life music video captures Warren’s twenty-something lifestyle, blending the experience of finding his place in a new city with moments of letting loose, all while pursuing his dreams.
Produced by his frequent collaborator Chasu, “SPLIT” serves as the latest offering ahead of a larger release from Warren. Stay tuned for more updates.
