Global video streaming service Prime Video has announced the upcoming release of the romantic comedy series “True to Love”. The show will be available to Prime Video customers in various countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, India, US, UK, Canada, and Australia, with new episodes airing every Wednesday and Thursday starting on April 12.
“True to Love” features renowned dating coach Deborah (played by Yoo In-na), publishing planner Soo-hyeok (played by Yoon Hyun-min), and publishing company head Sang-jin (played by Joo Sang-wook) in a story that bursts with romance and humor. The series is produced by KT StudioGenie, Poongnyeonjeonpasang, and Oz Arena, with direction from Lee Tae-gon, who is well-known for his directing skills in shows such as “Mad for Each Other” and “Diary of a Prosecutor”. The series is written by A-kyung, a writer recognized for her witty writing skills.
The show has already been generating buzz among viewers, as it marks the reunion of Director Lee Tae-gon and writer A-kyung, who previously worked together on “Mad for Each Other”. Filming for “True to Love” took place in the summer of 2022 and the show will be available globally on Prime Video starting April 12.
