UNIQLO shares the joy in the everyday with a grand seasonal celebration

December 1 in Manila, Philippines, the worldwide clothing store UNIQLO hosted a big Holiday event called the Tree Lighting Celebration. It took place on November 30 at the East B Parking Lot, 9th Avenue, and 30th Street intersection in Bonifacio Global City. Obviously, The event marked the beginning of the holiday season, including the lighting of the impressive UNIQLO Holiday tree, delightful treats from UNIQLO’s holiday partners, and live performances by popular local artists Jose Marie Chan and Ben&Ben.

A live choir set the night’s holiday mood as the Quezon City Performing Arts Development Foundation Inc. serenaded  the crowd composed of UNIQLO’s community partners, influencers, and customers.

During the festivities, UNIQLO Philippines Chief Operating Officer Geraldine Sia participated to emphasize the genuine significance of the holidays and the company’s message to discover joy in everyday moments. Additionally, UNIQLO Vice-President for Marketing Georgette Jalasco highlighted the importance of sustainability and community involvement. Customers are urged to contribute to UNIQLO’s worldwide clothing donation initiative by giving away their gently used LifeWear pieces at any UNIQLO store across the country. These donated items are later distributed to individuals who are in need.

UNIQLO Executives and Artists Illuminate Holiday Tree with Live Performances

Moreover, Sia and Jalasco, along with UNIQLO Chief Operating Officer Ikezoe Osamu, were then joined on stage by special performers Jose Mari Chan and Ben & Ben in lighting up the UNIQLO Holiday Tree. It featured images of UNIQLO customers taken at the Holiday Nook displayed at the company’s Global Flagship Store in Glorietta 5 and online entries.

With the UNIQLO holiday tree lit up and reflected on the smiles of the guests, Jose Mari Chan and Ben & Ben delivered special performances. The two musical acts collaborated to perform the new UNIQLO Christmas Jingle live.

UNIQLO Holiday Partners: Sustainable Delights and Filipino Christmas Staples

The celebration also featured UNIQLO Holiday partners who all brought a variety of sustainable products and delicious treats that everyone enjoyed. Among the partners, such as Mary Grace, Da Gianni On Wheels, Michelle’s Puto Ube, Grow PH, Mang Felix Taho and Mang Alex Fishball. What’s more, there as well to provide Filipino Christmas food staples were Lisa’s with its bibingka, puto bungbong, and hot chocolate, along with Bukas Palad with its fruit cake and other goods.
