Due to the restrictions made by the pandemic, awaited vacations and travels were really in demand and when adjustments were implemented, both tourists and enthusiasts of traveling are truly in for a treat.

Bohol, a great place for diving destinations, is surely an inviting venue for submerging onto the waves of aquamarine and aquatic life. However, in getting there, the experience is both an opportunity and experience to get.

Last June 3rd-6th, a gift of tourism to explore Central Visayas’ dive destinations was given. Dive 7 of Central Visayas conducted an event for us to add Bohol to our bucket list. The tourist spots of the province and the influence of the travel and media partners will make you want to visit Bohol.

A stay in Bellevue Resort, with such sophisticated design and comfort, a stay in this hotel was a blissful experience of sweet rests and comfort. After a good rest in the abode of such an accommodation, time to get into action in scuba diving at South Palms Resort, Balicasag Island and get into the great blue deep.

A trip to the waters will not be complete without visiting such island of Balicasag and observing the great wonders of such landscapes. Extreme activities such as the Sotera (ATV Activity) in chocolate hills, paddle boarding and taking the extreme challenge of eating at a floating restaurant in Loboc River will give you the experience that you are looking for.

The great wonders of the world? You do not need to be in such expenses when you can get it all in the “Mirror of the World of Sikatuna!”

The highlight of the said event is not just to promote tourism in Bohol. Discovering the underwater creatures of the province was the main agenda of this tour. Truly, each guest was surprised by what they encountered under the water. Different fish, turtles including corals made them amazed and gave them a reason to visit Bohol again.

In my experience, scuba diving is one of the water activities that everyone should try. For beginners like me, I thought that it was going to be a scary experience for me, but while I was under the water, I realized that it was just a thought. Equalizing is one of the challenging routines as the pressure on the ear increases. All you have to do is to keep calm, don’t hold your breath, and trust your dive master.

With the chance to emerge on in such destinations and immersive places, it serves more as an invitation and reminiscing of both Filipinos and other tourists to explore such.
