The Emirates Airline Foundation, a non-profit charity organization supporting projects globally to promote health and wellbeing for underprivileged youth, will receive every fee earned on this special flight EK2021.
The newest Emirates A380, which offers brand new Premium Economy seates and refreshed indoor cable cars, will be available to passengers throughout all classes of cabins.
Before boarding, passengers can also try out all the latest travel-oriented measures, including the new biometric and contactless technology recently implemented in Emirates at check-in points and boarding gates at Dubai Airport.
The one-off flight is an event also highlights the progress made by Emirates in vaccinating its staff, particularly pilots and cabin crews.
As of the moment more than 85% of Emirates flight personnel received the vaccine through one of the companies’ vaccination centers. Meanwhile in the United Arab Emirates, more than 8 million immunizations have been administered, protecting more than half the UAE population.
