Experience the unique cultural charm of Taiwan with “Love Fun Taiwan,” Asia’s first international co-production that features TV hosts from Thailand, India, and the Philippines.
Philippine TV hosts Rovilson Fernandez and Valerie Tan will guide you through Taiwan’s breathtaking sights, including The Zhentou and hot springs, as well as exciting adventures like aboriginal fishing, archery, puppetry, whale-watching, and more. They aim to share Taiwan’s unique blend of “love” and “fun” with the world.
Thai rising star Yepun Thanat Thanajirachai brings “Love Fun Taiwan” to Thailand with his entertaining trip to the island. As a first-time visitor to cities outside Taipei, he is struck by Taiwan’s perfect blend of fashion, tradition, and innovation.
India is introduced to “Love Fun Taiwan” through Bollywood actress, model, and TV host Pooja Bhamrrha. After visiting Taiwan for the first time, she finally understands why everyone says that “the most beautiful scenery in Taiwan is its people!” She adds that this journey has made her believe more in fate.
“Love Fun Taiwan” showcases the beauty of Taiwan through the eyes of international TV hosts, who consider it their top destination. Inspired by the serendipitous discovery of Taiwan by Portuguese sailors in the 16th century, veteran producer Michelle Lee masterfully transforms the story into a visual narrative. Lee has brought together select production teams from India, Thailand, and the Philippines to collaborate on the project, giving each team creative freedom to showcase the country through their own unique style and breathtaking cinematography. With music arranged by Golden Melody Award winner Huang Shao Yong, the series promises to be a visual feast that appeals to all the senses.
The goal of “Love Fun Taiwan” is to inspire love and healing through its stunning representation of Taiwanese culture. The show will air on major networks in India, Thailand, and the Philippines, and a special joint edition produced by all three countries will complete one season of the series. The series will premiere on Taiwan’s first all-English streaming platform, TaiwanPlus, on February 4th, before streaming on LiTV, Taiwan’s largest OTT platform.
TaiwanPlus CEO, Michael Yu, thinks the world will come to appreciate Taiwan’s beauty more through their groundbreaking initiative. The “Love Fun Taiwan” series, hosted by Rovilson Fernandez and Valerie Tan, showcases the love and fun of Taiwan on CNN Philippines every Sunday at 7pm, with repeat broadcasts on Tuesdays at 4:30pm.
