Radiating with inspiration, P-pop sensation Maymay Entrata has unveiled her latest track “Tsada Mahigugma,” a release from Star Pop that captures the essence of love in its most vibrant form.
This spirited love song encompasses the sentiment of patiently awaiting the arrival of the right person. The title itself, “Tsada Mahigugma,” draws from the Bisaya phrase signifying ‘It feels great to be in love.’
Reflecting on the song’s essence, Maymay eloquently expressed, “Isn’t love a wonderful feeling? ‘Tsada’ can mean wonderful, beautiful, delicious, handsome, or pretty, and ‘mahigugma’ stands for love. This signifies the sentiment that it’s good to experience love and to be loved,” she elaborated during an impromptu performance of the song at the 1MX London Music Festival last July.
“Tsada Mahigugma” is a collaborative effort between Maymay and Rox Santos, the head of Star Pop label. The composition credits go to CJ Kaamiño, while Justin Catalan handled the arrangement, and Theo Martel contributed to the mixing and mastering.
This release follows Maymay’s recent hit “Autodeadma,” a collaboration featuring Korean vocalist Wooseok from Pentagon.
