Retail starts September 13 in all Toyota dealerships nationwide
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the new Hilux GR Sport (GR-S), further enhancing the country’s leading pickup truck.
Inspired by the Dakar-winning GR Hilux, the New Hilux GR-S boasts a more rugged design, featuring a wider stance, matte black GR-S overfenders, 17-inch alloy GR design wheels with All-Terrain Tires, and the GR Aero sports bar.
The New Hilux GR-S is not only wider by 120 mm but also taller by 65 mm, giving it a more robust and imposing exterior appearance. These enhancements showcase its improved generational attributes of quality, durability, and reliability.
Under the hood, the New Hilux GR-S is powered by a 2.8L Diesel, 4-Cylinder, 16-Valve DOHC Variable Nozzle Turbo engine with an air-cooled intercooler. This engine delivers an impressive maximum output of 224PS and a peak torque of 550Nm. Additionally, it includes GR front and rear disc brakes with GR brake calipers and monotube shock absorbers, ensuring an enhanced driving experience both on and off the road.
Inside, the New Hilux GR-S features GR-S suede and leather seats, a leather steering wheel with a GR-S emblem, leather door trims with technical mesh, and red seatbelts, creating a sporty and stylish interior. Additional amenities include a 9-inch Display Audio with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Wireless Charger, Smart Entry, and a Push Start System for added convenience.
Safety is a top priority, with the New Hilux GR-S equipped with a Blind Spot Monitor (BSM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Toyota Safety Sense (TSS), Panoramic View Monitor (PVM), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Downhill Assist Control (DAC). These features ensure a safe and exhilarating driving experience for all adventures.
