Jollibee starts the early Christmas celebrations with the celebrity studded launch of its 20th Maaga ang Pasko, the company’s annual toy and book drive. Now on it’s 20th year, Maaga ang Pasko program benefited less fortunate children from the donations of toys and books that are collected at Jollibee stores. The launch at Jollibee’s Greenmeadows branch in Quezon City was attended by The Voice Kids winners Lyca Gairanod, Darlene Vibares and Juan Karlos Labajo, who were also formally introduced as the newest endorsers of the Jollibee Kids Club. Coach Sarah was supposed to be there but unfortunately due to health reason she was not able to attend.
The three kids delighted the crowd with the Singles for Christ choir with Christmas carols and performances.
PERFORMANCES
After the performances, the 3 kids lead the drive by dropping their toys and bookS at the Maaga ang Pasko collection box. Afterwards, the Jollibe Toy Scout children went around the venue to collect toys and books donations from customers who attended the event.
“2014 marks the 20th year of our Maaga ang Pasko campaign,” said Jollibee Vice President for Marketing Harvey Ong. “Sa patuloy na pagsuporta ng ating mga Jolly Toy Scouts sa lahat ng sulok ng Pilipinas at maging sa ibang bansa, sigurado kaming magiging tunay na pinakamaaga, pinakamahaba at pinakamalaki ang Pasko ng mas maraming batang Pilipino ngayong taon.”
To mark the campaign’s milestone 20th year, Jollibee will be holding a record 20 caravans across the country this December wherein they will be distributing the toys and books collected from customers and JFC employees to select beneficiaries.
Make this year’s Christmas season the jolliest ever for children across the nation by donating new or pre-loved toys and books to Maaga ang Pasko boxes located in all Jollibee stores nationwide. To make an online donation, visit www.jollibee.com.ph and click on the Maaga ang Pasko microsite.
