In order to spread positivity and laughter, The Koolpals Bar in Cellar at The Century Park Hotel Manila has opened for those who crave for smiles and giggles hosted by five of the best comedians in the country!
The Koolpals, Composed of GB Labrador, James Caraan, Nonong Ballinan, Ryan Rems, and Muman Reyes, has a vision for entertaining people who just wants to laugh and have a great time.
“Ever since we started our group, we have always dreamed of having our own bar,” one of the founders of the group said. “The podcast has played a huge role in promoting stand-up comedy, and it’s amazing to see how it has helped us achieve this dream. Now, we have a venue where we can expand our reach and share our humor with even more people,” he added.
Collaboration with Century Park Hotel
The Koolpals, friends who share the same love for comedy, started out in making podcasts in GB’s room. Their podcast reached viewers to many people until it found JJ Tan, the Managing Director of Century Park Hotel Manila.
This collaboration unlocked a profound opportunity for the gang that will give them the platform for a bigger boost for viewership!
Cellar, the hidden bar in between the two escalators in Century Park Hotel’s lobby was the dream destination waiting to be granted. For years, that place was hidden, but it is now something that people would be looking for to relax, destress, and having laughters!
What to expect in The Koolpals Bar?
The Koolpals will entertain guests through a live-recording podcast and open-mic sessions every Sunday by these famous comedians. This performances will carry on from 1PM-9PM, 8 hours of getting your cheeks burnt from laughing!
The podcast will also be aired on Facebook and Youtube.
Guests will not only be giggling all night but they will also get a taste of good food and great drinks catered by Century Park Hotel.
What’s for 2025?
The Koolpals are excited for this launch and how it would reach different audiences around the Metro, making people cry tears of joy out of laughter and fun. The performances will be joined by different guests every week too!
The gang is also set for a tour in the country, live shows in Pampanga, Baguio, Cebu, and more.
The tour will be showcasing the recording of their very first comedy special which will be supported by Arcade Film Factory, directed by Marius Talampas.
