Itchyworms, a Filipino OPM rock band, is planning to introduce its own craft beer, marking its entry into the beverage industry. Over the weekend, the band revealed the news in a social media post.
The group’s beer line, which includes two varieties—”Beer” and “Pag-Ibig”—was inspired by their 2010 hit song.
On July 13 at 6 p.m., the group will unveil its own craft beer at a show called “The Itchyworms: Beer o Pag-ibig?” at 123 Block in Mandaluyong City. forward.
The Revisors, Ciudad, Blaster, and Ebe Dancel are among the other performers at the music event.
In 1996, the independent band Itchyworms made hits with songs like “Akin Ka Na Lang” and “Beer.” The band also composed and performed “Kabataang Pinoy,” which served as the theme song for ABS-CBN’s teen version of “Pinoy Big Brother” during its premiere season.
One of the band’s members, Jugs Jugueta, co-hosts the noontime show “It’s Showtime” on ABS-CBN.
