Filipino pop-rock icons The Itchyworms are celebrating the launch of their own craft beer brand with a music event featuring their friends and favorites from the local music scene.
“The Itchyworms: Beer o Pag-ibig? Official Launch” will showcase their refreshing mix of brew variants to the public for the first time, accompanied by live performances from Ebe Dancel, Ciudad, Blaster, The Revisors, and The Itchyworms.
The event will take place at the 123 Block on July 13, 2024, starting at 6 pm. In addition to performances, there will be games, booths, and special on-ground activities organized by GNN Entertainment Productions, Flat Foot Brewing Co., and The Itchyworms themselves!
Inspired by their hit song “Beer,” which topped several music charts and has become a drinking anthem among Filipinos, The Itchyworms’ venture into brewing asks the familiar question: “Bawat Patak. Anong Sarap. Ano ba talaga’ng mas gusto mo?”
The two beer variants include BEER, a light and clean-tasting blonde ale with a balance of tropical fruit flavors and the right amount of maltiness, and PAG-IBIG, a hazy, cloudy, and flowery beer that is sweet and bitter at the same time.
