The Clash season 3 grand champion and Power Diva Jessica Villarubin released her debut single under GMA Music titled “Ako Naman” on All Out Sundays as she showcased not only her talent but also with a new look!
Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista wrote Jessica’s winning piece during the grand finals of The Clash and debut single “Ako Naman”. The song is anecdote of her journey from being a simple Cebuana girl to someone who achieved her long-time dreams now a Kapuso performer.
The singer bravely shared her journey of enhancing her face as she wanted to be confident on stage.
“Dati kasi na-bubully ako. I’m not confident with myself and how do I look. Gusto ko na talaga siyang gawin kasi gusto ko maging confident sa stage,” she said in an online media launch of her new single.
Moreover, the enhancement really boosted her confidence and she’s conscious anymore when performing.
“I’m very happy, hindi na ako na-co-conscious sa look ko. Ito na yung bagong Jessica, braver at mas confident,” she said with a poise.
On the other side, Ai Ai de las Alas’ advice to Jessica bring a significant courage on her journey from the start of The Clash until the end. “Sabi niya sa’kin, may talent ka, gamitin mo yung. ‘Wag mong isiping yung lahat ng tao,” she said.
Jessica Villarubin motivates other aspirants like her to continue pursuing their dreams and not be discourage of failures as it will make them stronger.
“Always believe in yourself and strive hard pa para sa pangarap niyo. Magdasal at ‘wag mawalan ng pag-asa,” she enouragely said.
Jessica also said that God has given us time when we will achieve the things we want so we shouldn’t lose hope.
