As the Covid 19 situation is about to calm down, our country, the Philippines’ domestic and international tourism market, is also recovering. We all know that some people are still scared to take a risk to travel, however, I can say that now is the time to have exciting and safe travels!
A lot of travelers are still concerned about health and safety precautions. And thought that when you travel now, there’s a lot of hassle and passes needed to be approved. In consideration, the government continues to impose the minimum health standards, in cooperation with the local government units, the LGUs, and the tourism industry, to reassure the travelers’ safety.
The Tourism Secretary, Ms. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat also advised the travelers that all the safety measures are still strictly observed and enforced by the department and the LGUs. She also stated that:

Since the government has already decided to ease the alert levels and as the LGUs have relaxed their own protocols and further opened their borders, visitors are starting to gain their confidence to book tours as well as planning future vacation trips.
The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) proudly presents and brings you the PTAA 29th Travel Tour Expo and the 7th International Travel Trade Expo that will be held on the 24th to 26th of June at the SMX Convention Center Manila.
They will be having a theme entitled “Braving and Shaping the Future of Travel”. This is the coming up travel tour expo that is poised to regain the tourism industry with great travel deals and various tour packages that will indeed be available to both foreign and domestic travelers!
This upcoming expo promises us a bigger and wider expo with a total of 142 exhibitors in participation that will surely occupy all of the Function Rooms 1-5 on the 2nd floor of the SMX Convention Center. With the estimation of 30,000 to 45,000 visitors will be the estimated visitors for the three day travel and tour expo.
There will be featuring various exciting destinations as well as event-exclusive promotions and discounts on airfare, accommodations, and tours. All the expected travelers can also get to pick their own travel schedules, favored transport vehicles on sea,land, or on air, and also secured travel insurance. There will also be an available on-hand for those who desire packaged trips for more convenience. In addition, there will be exciting raffles, exhibitors, game shows, sponsors, and lively entertainment. A lot of travel opportunities and deals will indeed satisfy the demand to start traveling again.
If you wish to attend the expo, tickets are available at the entrance at the price of Php 50 for general admission and Php 30 for senior citizens. The event schedules will be on June 24 from 10AM to 7PM, June 25 from 9:30AM to 7PM and, June 26 from 9:30AM to 6:30PM.
