Over 250 Sun Life advisors shine in the Philippine Life Insurance Advisors Awards
Nine of the top 10 life insurance advisors in the Philippines are from Sun Life of Canada (Philippines), Inc., according to the Philippine Life Insurance Advisors Awards (PhiLIAA), the country’s first nationwide recognition program for life insurance advisors. PhiLIAA features three categories, the most prestigious being the Gintong Kalasag Award, which honors the top 10 life insurance advisors based on their annualized premium. The Sun Life advisors who were recognized include Irma Su (10th place), Simon del Rosario (8th place), Odessa Saludares (7th place), Guo Jie Huang (6th place), Ralph Aarone Monzon (5th place), Sheryl Toribio (4th place), Ralph Delas Alas (3rd place), Owdylyn Lee (2nd place), and Jenith Mijares (1st place).
Sun Life advisors also excelled in the two other categories: the Elite Awards, which honor those achieving a First Year-Annualized Premium of PHP 2 million, with at least 12 cases and a persistency rate of 85% or higher, and the Asian Circle of Excellence (ACE) Awards, which recognize the top 10 Elite awardees from each life insurance company in the Philippines and serve as the basis for the Gintong Kalasag Awards.
Across all three categories, Sun Life advisors received over 250 awards at the ceremony held at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila. PhiLIAA is presented by the Life Underwriters Association of the Philippines, the premier association of financial advisors in the country, and is supported by the Insurance Commission.
“For Sun Life advisors, success is the culmination of their hard work, their service to clients, and their commitment to our purpose. This is why we are brimming with pride to see so many of them being recognized in PhiLIAA,” said Sun Life Philippines CEO & Country Head Benedict Sison. “I especially laud our Gintong Kalasag awardees for their exceptional performance. I am confident that this achievement will inspire them to shine brighter as they continue to uphold our industry’s noble mission.”
Now in its 129th year, Sun Life continues to be the leading life insurance company in the Philippines in terms of premium income. The company remains committed to helping clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives.
