BTS’ beloved member Suga has officially commenced preparations for his mandatory military service.
BIGHIT MUSIC, the record label for the globally acclaimed K-pop group, confirmed in a statement released on August 7, that Suga has applied for the termination of his enlistment postponement, marking the beginning of his journey towards fulfilling this national duty.
Suga is set to be the third member from BTS to enlist, following Jin and J-hope. The announcement comes right after he concluded his D-DAY world tour on August 6. His impending enlistment aligns with the South Korean law, which mandates healthy individuals, based on their qualifications, age, and educational background, to serve in the active duty service, supplementary service, or the wartime labor service.
The label emphasized its unwavering support for Suga during this significant period and encouraged fans to continue their love and support until the K-pop idol safely completes his military service and returns.
As Suga embarks on this new chapter, both the record label and fans around the world will undoubtedly stand by him, eagerly awaiting his comeback.
