As The Gold Squad turned into The Squad Plus, different new artists from Star Magic family were introduced, this includes the Squad Plus – Showbiz Royalties.
The Squad Plus Showbiz Royalties are, Jimuel Pacquiao (son of Manny Pacquiao), Nio Tria (son of Cherry Pie Picache), Alyanna Angeles (niece of Angel Locsin), Analain Salvador and Ashton Salvador (cousins of Daniel Padilla).
Showing the new generation of our favorite actors, these squadmates were introduced to the media last April 26 in a media conference.
Jimuel Pacquiao, aside from boxing and singing, he showcases a great public figure as a polite-talker.
Pursuing the acting field, at first he never thought of being an actor. “They always say, when you’re young– try everything,” said the 20 year-old added.
Nio Tria, son of award-winning actor Cherry Pie Picache, although he focused first in playing tennis, he has been interested with showbiz.
“Blessing in disguise na binigyan ako ng chance to be part of Squad Plus and thankful din ako that I got to pursue that now,” Nio said.
Ashton Salvador, an introvert like his cousin Daniel Padilla, wanted to try acting despite of being shy.
Admitted to be scared in front of the camera, his sister Analain is there to help him overcome it.
Flaunting the beauty of Salvador clan, Analain Salvador, ever since has the passion for acting.
“Gusto ko po talagang humusay sa pag-aarte,” the well-behaved young artist said.
Alyanna Angeles, who has been on-screen since five and the niece of Angel Locsin, has seen herself acting and grateful for the opportunity she had.
“I just took the opportunity since minsan lang naman may opportunity na ganiyan [showbiz]. And a lot of people have talent but not everyone is given the opportunity, that’s why I will not let it go to waste,” Alyanna stated.
Meanwhile, the host of #SquadPlusMediaLaunch Sky Quizon, didn’t let these young artists be uncomfortable as he jokes around to remove tense.
