A special virtual assembly was held last April 9, 2022 with Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano together with the writer of He’s into Her, Vanessa Valdez and the director Chad Vidanes. In which it is an annual media assembly before the premiere screening of He’s into Her Season 2!
According to them, They have prepared a lot of points of views for each character, sharing their stories, so during this season they said that this is not just the “kilig” like what we have watched in the first season but the story becomes deeper.
“Well, for me po nung una syempre sobrang kinabahan ako kasi this time yung characters nga namin mas may dept mas kita yung layers ng character namin, more of mas makikita niyo yung challenges na pinagdaanan nila but then of course with the help of direk, miss van, and everyone, donny as well, na sobrang big help talaga once when you’re in that kind of set up na you’re just in one bubble. Being surrounded with the same cast, same people it really helps you to be back on the zone and be Max again talagang nakakatulong siya na para maportray mo yung character.”

The team has been through a lot of challenges throughout the season, one challenge for them is internalizing and collaborating with each other during the shoot of the heavy scenes. Donny stated that:
“We talk about it but we don’t talk. It’s a mix of both. We talk about it beforehand but when it comes to the point na bago na magseen, hindi kami nag uusap at all as in zero. And were just on our own spots… may sarili akong way na magkaron ng emotion dun sa scene then after we comfort each other.”

“I motivate my actors in a way that I get to know them more. What makes them thick, what’s their personality. Kumbaga if they have the same personality with the characters, we’ll use it but if not, we’ll use it in a different way.”

Direk Chad also mentioned that this season surely has a lot of heavy scenes in which Donny and Belle are drained during the shoots but of course they really have to push through and also motivate them that they can do it.
“Not only because the story required it but I also think it’s time to challenge Donny and Belle and the only way to do that is to level up the materials. Hindi naman madali ang naiwan nating thread ng kwento.. So kailangan din sa season 2, hindi namin kalimitan na merong ganong twist sa season 1 na very serious, very dramatic so definitely the tone of this season has been shifted.”
