The deluxe edition kicks off with the track “Drive,” a new song written by SZA and produced by ThankGod4Cody and Billy Lemon. The music video, directed by Bradley Calder and starring Ben Stiller, perfectly captures the emotion of the song’s lyrics.
SOS Deluxe: LANA features lyrics written by SZA with production from Michael Uzowuru, ThankGod4Cody, Carter Lang, Rob Bisel, Solomonophonic, Monsune, Dylan Newstarter, and others. The album includes standout tracks like “Saturn”—nominated for both Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance at the Grammys—alongside “30 for 30” (featuring Kendrick Lamar), “Kitchen,” “Scorsese Baby Daddy,” and more.
With the release of SOS Deluxe: LANA, SZA marks a new chapter in her career, capping off another successful year and continuing her global success. In 2024, SZA received the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s Hal David Starlight Award and claimed multiple honors at the iHeartRadio Awards, BMI Awards, Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards, BRIT Awards, and BET Awards. Earlier this year, SOS won three Grammy Awards, including Best Progressive R&B Album, Best R&B Song for “Snooze,” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Ghost In The Machine.” SOS remained on the Billboard 200 album chart for nearly two years and is now RIAA-certified 5x Platinum.
