Former “Tawag ng Tanghalan” finalist Sof Vasquez journeys back to the captivating era of ‘90s love songs in his debut single “Bakit Hindi Ko Sinabi” released under ABS-CBN’s Old School Records.
Composed by label head KIKX Salazar, the song takes inspiration from the music of American R&B/soul icon James Ingram and carries the nostalgic vibe of ‘90s ballads. It’s also an emotional ode to someone’s ‘the one that got away.’
Sof provides his haunting powerful vocals for “Bakit Hindi Ko Sinabi” after finishing 3rd place in “TNT All-Star Grand Resbak” in 2019. Before this, he also became a grand finalist in the competition during its second season in 2018.
Currently, Sof is an active streamer in the Filipino community livestreaming app kumu, where he has won several campaigns—including the title of being the first-ever Metro Man cover star.
He joins fellow up-and-coming artists like KVN, Chloe, RJZON, and KHIMO who have also released original tunes under Old School Records, an ABS-CBN Music label that endeavors to produce music reminiscent of the ‘70s, ‘80s, or ‘90s sound infused with a modern twist.
