In solidarity with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela (BE) initiative, SN Aboitiz Power-Magat (SNAP-Magat) actively participated in a series of school maintenance efforts in the municipalities of Ramon, Isabela, and Alfonso Lista in Ifugao.
SNAP-Magat contributed electrical fixtures, wiring, galvanized iron sheets, as well as materials for roof and wall repainting to Ambatali Elementary School and Gen. Aguinaldo Elementary School in Ramon, Isabela, and Sto. Domingo Elementary School in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao. Additionally, earlier this year, Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo National High School in Ramon, Isabela received solar panels, with SNAP-Magat overseeing their installation.
Beyond supplying materials and participating in the cleanup of school environments, SNAP-Magat’s team of licensed electricians, engineers, and IT experts undertook the repair of electrical wiring, desktop computers, and appliances to ensure that classrooms are safe, well-lit, and properly ventilated.
SNAP-Magat has long been a dedicated supporter of DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela program, aimed at preparing public schools for the start of the academic year. The company’s commitment to Brigada Eskwela aligns with its core values of giving back to the community, with a specific focus on education. SNAP-Magat firmly believes that investing in youth education is the key to a brighter future.
