A night of music, mayhem, and multi-dimensional experience awaits all Dua Lipa fans as the hitmaker gears up for “Studio 2054,” a live virtual concert to be streamed across the world on Nov. 28, Saturday, at 5:00 p.m. Philippine time.
Shot live in a massive warehouse, “Studio 2054” promises a kaleidoscope of the past, present, and future as Dua Lipa performs tracks from her albums “Future Nostalgia”, “Club Future Nostalgia” and her debut album, “Studio 2054”. In the concert, the two-time Grammy Award winner will move through custom-built sets including surreal tv shows, roller discos, rocker hangouts, voguing ballrooms, and more, accompanied by surprise superstar guests and a cast of musicians, dancers, skaters, aerialists, and acrobats.
To make it simple and easy for Filipino fans to experience this spectacle, mobile services provider Smart Communications, Inc. has partnered with LIVENow, a pay-per-view service, to enable Smart Signature subscribers to buy their ticket and conveniently charge this to their postpaid bill.
Virtual concert experiences in the new normal
Virtual concerts have become a huge source of entertainment for Filipinos in the new normal, and through these, Smart continues to bring subscribers closer to their favorite artists and performers, fueling their passion for music.
Dua Lipa’s Studio 2054 Digital Concert adds to a string of local and international artists that Smart has brought closer to Filipino fans. Last August 27, Smart also teamed up with LIVENow to bring Ellie Goulding’s The Brightest Blue Experience Online concert as part of the GigaFest line-up of activities to thank loyal subscribers.
Country’s fastest mobile data network
Smart subscribers can enjoy the concert seamlessly powered by the country’s fastest mobile data network, as recognized by third-party analytics firms, such as Opensignal and Ookla.
Just recently, Opensignal, an independent mobile analytics firm, reported in its November 2020 Mobile Network Experience Report* for the Philippines that Smart remained ahead of the competition in terms of Video Experience, Upload and Download Speed Experience, 4G Availability, and 4G Coverage Experience.
On the other hand, Ookla, the global leader in internet testing and analysis, recently named Smart as the country’s fastest mobile data network in the first half of 2020 after it achieved a Speed Score™ of 18.33, with average speeds of 15.94 Mbps for download and 7.57 Mbps for upload, based on 2,810,963 user-initiated tests taken with Speedtest®.
