As they launch their new campaign this year, the brand welcomes mother and daughter Sunshine and Angelina Cruz as the new members of the Silka family to introduce further to Filipinos the alagang Silka effect to future generations.
The brands newest TVC starring Sunshine and Angelina was about Silka’s vision of being comforting and nurturing for the past twenty years.
In an interview, Sunshine revealed she’s been an avid Silka user since 2013 and was elated when asked to be one of the ambassadors of the brand.
“Bonus factor pa na makakatrabaho ko for the first time ang aking anak na si Angelina sa isang TVC shoot at photo shoot”, Sunshine said after expressing her happiness. “This is the first time that I really saw my daughter Angelina na umarte at naloka ako dahil mas magaling pa umiyak [kaysa] sa akin ang anak ko” she added regarding the emotional TVC they shot together for the campaign.
Angelina expressed how grateful she was to do her first TVC with her mom and explains the message of their campaign, “The message naman of the commercial really touched me kasi alam ‘niyo naman po na everyone experiences heartbreak, and not just romantic heartbreak but life challenges pero no matter what walang duda, your mom will always be there for you”
