Introducing COD Unbox: Return on the Spot
Shopee’s recent Gen Z Shopper Study revealed that while this generation’s consumers
are always searching for the best deals, they prioritize trustworthy brands and secure
transactions when shopping online. In response, Shopee launched COD Unbox: Return
on the Spot, where Cash-On-Delivery (COD) customers can open and inspect the items
in their parcel upon delivery.

With this new feature, Shopee users can return their parcel to the delivery rider as soon
as they receive it in case there are issues with their orders, such as damages, incorrect
items, or missing products.

More Flexibility with Free & Easy Returns
With Shopee’s Return and Refund policy, buyers don’t need to contact sellers to return
their orders. Through its Return/Refund feature, Shopee will handle buyers’ return and
refund requests to give them more convenience.
In addition, Shopee has introduced Change of Mind as a new option to request to return
their items.This allows customers to return products if the fit and style of the product
doesn’t suit them.

Discount Vouchers with Shopee On-Time Delivery
Shopee has also reinforced its commitment to ensure timely deliveries of users’ orders.
Through its new On-Time Delivery program, the e-commerce platform will give users a
free discount voucher if their order arrives past its delivery date.

According to Shopee, Gen Z shoppers are shown to take their time conducting in-depth
research for their purchases, with top considerations including a seamless return and refund
process and fast delivery services.
