The 12.12 sale also saw the continued rise of interactive e-commerce, with Shopee Video and Shopee Live becoming integral to the shopping experience. Shopee Video, a new content feature on the platform, allows sellers and content creators to post short, engaging videos to showcase their products and drive sales. During the 12.12 Mega Pamasko Sale, checkouts via Shopee Video surged by an impressive 14 times, highlighting the power of video content in capturing buyers’ attention and increasing conversions.

Shopee Live, a popular feature among Filipino shoppers, also recorded a significant increase in checkouts during the event, growing by six times. In addition, viewership on Shopee Live spiked threefold, underscoring the growing importance of real-time interactions in online shopping.
