Ship Smarter: J&T Express Extends COD Service to More Areas

J&T Express, a leading delivery service provider in the Philippines, is expanding its Cash-on-Delivery (COD) service to include walk-in customers and door-to-door pickup clients. This new offering, available starting this quarter, is designed to provide greater payment flexibility, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that rely on adaptable logistics solutions.

Through the J&T Express mobile app and official website, businesses can now easily register for a COD account, enabling them to offer this trusted payment method. COD allows customers to pay for their purchases upon delivery, eliminating the need for credit cards or cashless transactions.

“COD remains a preferred payment method in the Philippines, and we aim to provide our customers with the best possible experience,” said Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines. “This option fosters trust between sellers and buyers, while also supporting more inclusive payment solutions.”

Reaching Customers in Remote Areas
The expanded COD service also targets customers in remote locations with limited access to digital payment options. “Our goal is to offer a secure payment experience for buyers and help our partner sellers grow their customer base,” Chi added.

Previously, J&T Express’s COD service was exclusive to e-commerce platforms and VIP clients, who enjoyed perks like special discounts, fast remittance, and a dedicated VIP dashboard. With this expansion, a broader range of customers can now take advantage of this convenient payment method.
