SB19 Nominated for Top Social Artist for Billboard Music Awards 2021

Wave your flags P-pop fans especially A’TIN because our very own P-pop group SB19 made history as they become one of the finalists as Top Social Artist in the 2021 Billboard Music Awards (BBMA). According to the list of nominees released by BBMA last Friday night – Manila Time, SB19 was included in the fan-voted category.

SB19 is a five-member Filipino boy group formed by ShowBT, debuted in 2018 – consists of Josh, Pablo, Ken, Stell, and Justin. And on last March 9, they released their newest single ‘What?’ and it already reached 8.8 million views on YouTube!

On SB19Official Twitter account, they shared their gratitude for being nominated for the Top Social Artist for Billboard Music Awards 2021, on their post they said that,

“WE MADE IT, A’TIN! We are nominated for Top Social Artist of this year’s Billboard Music Awards! We are so grateful for you love and support. We wouldn’t have come this far without all of you! A’TIN ‘TO! Iwawagayway ang WATAWAT! #SB19forBBMAs,” – SB19Official

SB19 indeed made a history as they became the first Filipino nominated in the top social artist category since it was launched in 2011. Their fellow finalists are Ariana Grande, and South Korean Groups BTS, Blackpink, and Seventeen.

The fan-driven list is based on major fan interactions, like music streaming and social engagement, as well as worldwide voting. Show your support by voting your favorite social artist!
