Beloved arcade chain Timezone has reopened its UP Town Center after months of renovation. Standing at 1535 square meters, the new branch ensures a fun-filled experience for all. Located at the heart of Katipunan, Timezone UP Town Center has always been a top hangout and leisure spot for students who belong to schools within the area. Given this audience, Timezone went all out for their grand opening — calling upon everyone to #JoinTheFun.
Timezone UPTC’s previous branch had a wide range of fun and entertaining activities such as arcade games, karaoke rooms, and billiards. However, they decided to take things to another level by adding bumper cars and bowling alleys upon relocation. Additional points of attraction include VR-based games, horseback riding simulations, and dodgeball. The revamped branch proved itself worthy of a celebration, which Timezone was able to deliver through an opening ceremony on Friday, April 26.
The reopening of Timezone UPTC was heavily centered on school spirit and varsity pride. Student-athletes hailing from University of the Philippines Diliman, Ateneo de Manila University, and University of the East graced the Timezone grounds and showed off their active charms. To further hype up the branch’s launch, Arellano University’s pep squad also prepared a cheer dance number. Speaking of performances, GMA Sparkle’s P-pop boy group Cloud 7 sang and danced for the event’s attendees as well.
Attendees of the exclusive opening event were able to experience Timezone UPTC’s fun firsthand through complimentary welcome cards that allowed them to try out any of Timezone’s various games and pastimes, where some got to claim enticing prizes through the tickets they won. Event organizers also divided attendees into 3 teams to make cheers of their own, promoting the vigor of school spirit to everyone involved.
Timezone UP Town Center is located at Phase 2, Level 2, UP Town Center, 216 Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. The branch is open from 11 AM to 9 PM.
