Prime Video, India’s favorite entertainment platform, has released the thrilling action-packed trailer for the highly anticipated original series Citadel: Honey Bunny. Set in the Citadel universe, this Indian series is directed by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) and co-written by Sita R. Menon alongside them. The series is produced by D2R Films and Amazon MGM Studios, with executive production from the Russo Brothers’ AGBO, including Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot, and Scott Nemes, along with David Weil (from Hunters) and Midnight Radio.
Starring the immensely talented Varun Dhawan and Samantha in leading roles, the series also features a versatile ensemble cast that includes Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Saqib Saleem, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, and Kashvi Majmundar. Citadel: Honey Bunny will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on November 7.
The trailer showcases an exhilarating spy thriller set against the vibrant backdrop of the 90s, filled with explosive action, high-octane stunts, and gripping performances. The story follows stuntman Bunny (Varun Dhawan) as he recruits struggling actress Honey (Samantha) for a side gig, leading them into a high-stakes world of espionage and betrayal. Years later, as their dangerous past resurfaces, the estranged duo must reunite to protect their young daughter, Nadia.
