Fans of Vertical Horizon were having a great time watching the concert at Resorts World Manila. It’s the 3rd time that the band performed here in the Philippines.
Vertical Horizon is an American alternative rock band and best known for their hits in 1999 and early 2000s, including “You’re a God”, “Everything You Want”, and “Best I Ever Had”.
During the concert, lead singer Matt Scannell mentioned that they enjoyed Filipino food like halo-halo, pork knuckles and oxtail. They said that our halo halo is unique and can’t be found anywhere in the world so it’s a reason for them to come back to the Philippines.
They uttered a few Filipino words that brought applause from the crowd.
I did not get the full set list but they played “Save me from Myself” and “Give You Back”.
They played the song “Forever” which they dedicated to the victims of Yolanda. Their last number was “Everything You Want” but the crowd demanded an encore and they played “You’re a God”.
The crowd was quit large filling the Newport Performing Arts Theater.
Here are some more photos of the concert.
