Philtower, MIDC and ZTE sign an MoU at MWC Barcelona 2025

ZTE Corporation (0763.HK / 000063.SZ), a global leader in integrated information and communication technology solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Phil-Tower Consortium Inc. and Miescor Infrastructure Development Corporation (MIDC), a leading independent tower company (ITC) in the Philippines. The signing took place at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025 in Spain, marking a major step toward advancing the country’s telecommunications infrastructure.

Under the agreement, ZTE, Philtower, and MIDC will assess the feasibility of deploying Radio Access Network (RAN) equipment under a neutral host model. This initiative aims to accelerate network expansion across the Philippines, supporting the widespread adoption of 5G and next-generation mobile technologies. By leveraging ZTE’s state-of-the-art solutions, the collaboration will enhance connectivity, network performance, and service quality for consumers and businesses nationwide.
