The Philippine Marketing Association (PMA), together with the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA) and AGC Power Holdings Corp., have unveiled the finalists for the 32nd Agora Youth Awards, celebrating the next generation of Filipino marketers. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in academic excellence, extracurricular activities, and marketing plan competitions.
This year’s finalists from various colleges and universities nationwide have demonstrated exceptional marketing skills through diverse initiatives, showcasing creativity and strategic thinking in adapting to the dynamic industry landscape. They include students like Kristalyn Agustin from Central Luzon State University, Franco Gabrielle Delatina from Our Lady of Fatima University – Antipolo Campus, Ma. Alexandria Ogalinola from Bulacan State University – Main Campus, and others from prestigious institutions across Luzon, NCR, and Mindanao.
The Agora Youth Awards also highlight top student marketing associations, recognizing their programs and contributions to enhancing their members’ marketing skills. Finalists in the Junior Marketing Association category hail from leading universities nationwide, such as De La Salle University Manila, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, and Xavier University.
Leah Marie Ayeng, Director of Youth Academe at PMA, emphasized the awards’ broader impact, stating, “The Agora Youth Awards is a platform that values community impact alongside competence, recognizing changemakers among young marketers.” The selection process involves rigorous assessments of academic records, marketing plans, and community contributions by esteemed judges who are past recipients of the Agora Youth Awards.
Archie Carrasco, CEO of AGC Power Holdings Corp. and a former Agora Youth Awards finalist, expressed his pride in returning as a judge and co-presenter, noting, “This award has been pivotal in my career journey, and it’s an honor to contribute back to this platform.”
The 32nd Agora Youth Awards, presented in partnership with Aseana Holdings Inc., Sequoia Hotel, and other esteemed sponsors, culminates in an awards ceremony on July 31, 2024, at Sequoia Hotel Manila Bay in Parañaque City. The event aims to celebrate and inspire the future leaders of the marketing industry.
During the press conference, PMA also announced the upcoming StratMark Student Conference, a flagship program gathering marketing students, educators, and professionals annually.
