Bayad, formerly known as Bayad Center, is a pioneer in outsourced bills payment services in the Philippines and now operates as a full-service fintech subsidiary of Meralco. Its collaboration with 7-Eleven has also expanded the kiosk’s biller network to include Red Fiber, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the National Housing Authority (NHA).
The partnership is expected to introduce even more billers in the future, including additional electric and water utilities, government fees and contributions, tollway RFID, insurance, loans, tuition fees, and other essential services.
