Mang Inasal introduces MI UNIVerse, an exciting new initiative that brings together a vibrant community of campus-based content creators from the Philippines’ leading colleges and universities.
Building on the success of last year’s collaborations with young influencers, MI UNIVerse aims to deepen Mang Inasal’s connection with students, creating more engaging and meaningful interactions in 2025.
The name “MI UNIVerse” combines “university” and “universe,” symbolizing a collective of students from diverse schools who share a common passion for Mang Inasal. Participating institutions include the University of Santo Tomas (UST), De La Salle University (DLSU), University of the Philippines (UP), Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU), National University (NU), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Dilliman University, Cebu Institute of Technology University (CIT University), Philippine Women’s University (PWU), and Mapúa University.
“With MI UNIVerse, we’re fostering authentic connections with Gen Z by giving them a platform to showcase their genuine love for our brand,” said Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro. “Seeing young customers embrace Mang Inasal last year was incredibly rewarding. This 2025, we’re even more excited to build on that momentum with campaigns that will inspire excitement and camaraderie among students and their friends!”
At a recent gathering, members of MI UNIVerse expressed their enthusiasm for being part of the vibrant community created by the Philippines’ Grill Expert, Mang Inasal.
“It’s been such an amazing experience collaborating with Mang Inasal in 2024,” shared Sophia Ann Lacson of UST Tiger TV. “We’re looking forward to even more exciting partnerships in 2025!”
Justin Pontino from ADMU Radyo Katipunan highlighted the deeper meaning behind the initiative, saying, “Mang Inasal is more than just great food. It’s about bringing people together to celebrate the joy of Filipino flavors. I’m thrilled to be part of MI UNIVerse!”
For Mark delos Santos from UP Samaskom, the connection is deeply personal. “Mang Inasal has been a part of my family’s life since I was young. Now, being part of MI UNIVerse lets me share that special bond with even more people.”
As MI UNIVerse continues to grow in 2025, its members will take the lead in promoting Mang Inasal’s signature Ihaw-Sarap meals and Unli-Saya moments across their campuses, further cementing the brand’s connection with Gen Z students nationwide.
