“Pamilya Sagrado” star Emilio Daez became the second “Rainbow Rumble” champion, taking home a total of P1,062,000 last Saturday (August 24).
In the jackpot round, “Rainbow Reveal,” Emilio won the P1 million jackpot prize by successfully identifying all six unique colors.
“I cannot believe it, sobrang saya. I’m lost for words, grabe. Hindi ko alam kung ano ‘yung nararamdaman ko pero sobrang saya,” Emilio shared.
During the elimination round, “Rally to the Top,” he earned P62,000 after defeating fellow cast members and rumblers Kyle Echarri, Grae Fernandez, Jeremiah Lisbo, and Daniella Stranner.
Emilio added two seconds to the 60-second standard time in the “Rainbow Reveal” after correctly answering one out of the six rapid rumble questions. He secured the six unique colors with 13 seconds to spare, making him the second millionaire in “Rainbow Rumble” following ABS-CBN journalist Raphael Bosano’s win last month.
The following day (August 25), LGBTQIA+ pageant queens Anne Patricia Lorenzo, Matmat Centino, Mitch Suansane, Sashi Esmeralda, and Ralph Romero tested their knowledge and luck on “Rainbow Rumble.” Anne advanced to the Rainbow Reveal but fell short of winning the jackpot by not obtaining all six unique colors. Despite this, she still took home P82,000, which she won during the elimination round.
