In February, Filipinos commemorate National Arts Month, which coincides with Valentine’s Day. To mark the occasion, Pahiyas Art Society is organizing the Converging Hues Art Fair, which will be held at Ali Mall, Araneta City from February 24 to 26. The event aims to provide emerging and upcoming artists with a wider market to showcase their talents and recover from the pandemic’s impact. The exhibit is an excellent opportunity for self-understanding and public awareness, as each artist has a unique style that offers the audience a glimpse into different stories.
The art fair will also feature pocket events such as Mandala Stone and Henna Tattoo art demos, live sketching, and live busking performances. To cap the event, Elisha de Pala, a finalist in the recent Tawag ng Tanghalan competition, will hold a mini concert on February 26. Additionally, the bazaar will offer art merchandise, food, and souvenir items from Quezon Province. A daily raffle draw will be held, where participants can win art pieces, food vouchers, and other event souvenir items.
The Converging Hues Art Fair will open to the public on February 24 at 5:00 P.M. The event is made possible with the support of the J. Amado Araneta Foundation, Gateway Gallery, Ali Mall, Araneta City, Pahiyas Art Society, and Lucban Tourism Office. This event is an excellent opportunity to celebrate and support Filipino artists and their contributions to the country’s cultural heritage.
