Music enthusiasts are in for a full-day “musical and cultural experience” at the “ON MUSIC FESTIVAL,” set to take place at the Mall of Asia Arena on November 3 (Friday), starting from 12 pm onwards. The event will feature renowned performers including EXO’s SUHO, Ben&Ben, Moira Dela Torre, Seori, Darren, Adie, MeloMance, and wave to earth.
“What we have prepared is a multifaceted musical, culinary, and cultural experience bridging Korea and the Philippines,” remarked ABS-CBN Global COO Aldrin Cerrado.
This eagerly awaited festival, produced by ABS-CBN Events, is a collaboration between ABS-CBN Global and the immersive South Korean entertainment brand, KAMP.
According to KAMP CEO Tim Kim, the festival’s name is derived from the Korean word ‘on,’ which signifies 100. He explained, “ON conveys notions of completeness, warmth, and the number 100 in Korea. We established this festival under the theme of celebrating music.”
Tim also highlighted the shared passion for music among both Koreans and Filipinos, expressing hope that the festival, beginning in Asia, will pave the way for future editions on other continents, uniting people through music.
“We wanted to create a debut opportunity to transcend borders and collectively celebrate our love for music. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to developing ON Festival and other global projects,” he added.
In addition to the featured acts, who will each deliver powerful performances lasting at least 40 minutes on stage, the ON Music Festival will include pre-show performances by emerging ABS-CBN Music artists such as Maki, Cesca, Nameless Kids, and SAB. This aligns with ABS-CBN’s mission to showcase Filipino artistry on the global stage.
Aldrin stated, “It has always been ABS-CBN’s dream to promote our artists. Providing them with a platform like this allows them to be discovered, and the audience can savor their music. It’s something we want to offer our artists.”
