Time to Shine on the World Stage
MWI 2024 will showcase both new talents and familiar rivals from 12 international teams, all poised to elevate the competitive scene for MLBB Esports. Team Vitality, having recently acquired Bigetron Era’s championship roster, will compete alongside Gaimin Gladiators Homegirls and Tidal Legends Gaming in Group D. Meanwhile, Smart Omega Empress will face off against Net Angels and Dreammax Girls in Group B.
In Group A, Cambodia’s CFU Serendipity will join Falcons Vega and Cloud 9. Group C will feature Zino Lilies, Victory Song Gamers, and Falcons Vega Mena.
Beginning with the Group Stage, the teams will engage in a single round-robin, best-of-two match series from July 24 to 25. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs Stage, while the team with the lowest points in each group will be eliminated from playoff contention.
A playoff draw will determine the matchups, placing the top teams from each group into Pool 1 and the second-placed teams into Pool 2. The Playoffs Stage will take place from July 26 to 27. The first day will feature a single-elimination best-of-three format, while the second day will be a single-elimination best-of-five match series.
