I’m going to Photoworld Asia 2014 at the Glorietta in Ayala Center, Makati to see what’s new and what’s hot in the Philippine photography scene.
Definitely the big guns like Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax and other will be there.
Of course, my flavor of the month is Fujifilm since I recently purchased a XE-2.
On Feb. 2, Fujifilm Philippines will be officially launching in the Philippines their new X-T1, the flagship of the X series cameras.
I look forward to checking out also the accessories from Benro, Blackrapid, Tenba, Lowepro, Think Tank, and other suppliers who will be setting up their booths at the photo show/exhibit.
Not to be missed are the free lectures from different masters in Philippine photography. This is separate from the convention that is with a fee.
And of course, enjoy shooting the models at the different booths. Each of the major booths will have their models. I remember Olympus a few years back with body painting models!
If you are also looking for new cameras and accessories, each of the vendors will have different offers just for the event. Great savings and deals!
