This track has been chosen as the closing theme for the upcoming fifth season of the anime series ‘Kingdom,’ set to commence broadcasting in January 2024. As an avid enthusiast of both the anime adaptation of ‘Kingdom’ and the original manga, Novel Core collaborated with producer Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai for this fresh composition. Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai, recognized for his work with globally successful artists such as SKY-HI, BE:FIRST, UVERworld, AK-69, Chanmina, and milet, joined forces with Novel Core to create a compelling musical piece.
Novel Core’s newly penned lyrics, centered around the theme of “inconsistent justice,” cleverly incorporate references that will deeply resonate with ‘Kingdom’ fans. Skillfully blending singing and rapping, Novel Core delivers these expressive lyrics over Ryosuke “Dr.R” Sakai’s dynamic digital-rock sound. The amalgamation of these core elements results in an emotional song that mirrors the unique tension anticipated in Season 5 of ‘Kingdom.’
