Music channel MYX Philippines and Pinoy community platform Kumu are launching a fresh and spontaneous virtual dating show “MYX and Match” in March to help netizens find love as a national poll recently revealed that the number of Filipinos with no love life has reached an all-time high.
An inclusive dating game show hosted by social media sensation Dora (@doracrybaby), “MYX and Match” will bring together eligible singles of all genders and gender expressions, aged 18 and above, who are ready to play the game of love.
In each episode, a searcher will be presented with three potential partners to choose from and their compatibility will be tested through a series of fun challenges. The catch though is that the identities and appearances of both the searcher and searches will remain hidden until the final match is made to ensure that their connection will go beyond looks.
The winning pair will then go on a virtual date where KUMUzens can ‘third wheel’ and watch how their relationship unfolds in the next episode.
To audition, just download the kumu app, upload a one minute video on ‘kumu klips’ introducing yourself, why you’re single, what your idea of a perfect partner is, and why you think you’re ready to find your perfect match.
A Social Weather Stations survey reported that 18 percent of Filipinos say they have no love life, based on a survey of 1,500 Filipino adults conducted last November 21 to 25.
