“While you could say this isn’t my first rodeo, I’m very excited to be back in the saddle with the New Day team,” says Abrera. “Our world has gone through some big changes this year. The way we live, how we use technology, and the role we play in sustainability and the environment. All the rules have changed and were literally waking up to a New Day. I’m looking forward to sharing that journey with everyone.”
Tanjuatco-Trillo has been leading the network’s morning coverage solo for several months. “I’ve missed having everyone with me on set, to serve our audience with news they can trust, day in and day out.”
As the sports guy on the team, Felix says, “I have been with New Day since it first aired back in February 2016, and being on the morning show delivering the news and information to our viewers’ first thing in the morning has been a huge privilege for me. And I’m equally thrilled to share the latest in sports under this new normal.”
“With our new tagline all the news you need and more, we’ll make sure our viewers won’t miss a beat when it comes to what’s happening in entertainment, what’s trending, the latest movies and hits from your favorite artists,” says Jacob-Sandejas.
