
The National Council for Children’s Television (NCCT) and Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc. (KCFI) are introducing four new TV shows under “NCCT Originals” that promote self-empowerment among Filipino youth. Starting Tuesday, March 11, viewers can watch:

🎨 “Lakbay Isip” – A live-action animated web series following a teenage artist navigating post-pandemic life with the help of her imaginary alter egos.
👥 “Tropa Peeps” – A mix of scripted drama and expert interviews highlighting sexual abuse and exploitation among teenage boys.
🎭 “OK AKO” – A light drama trilogy infused with comedy and spoken word poetry addressing mental health struggles.
🧩 “Friendship Puzzles” – A blend of scientific insights and real-life stories exploring depression, anxiety, and suicide prevention.
Funded by the National Endowment Fund for Children’s Television (NEFCTV), the shows will air on Knowledge Channel every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
KCFI President and Executive Director Rina Lopez highlighted the importance of these programs, saying, “These NCCT Originals align with our mission to provide educational content that helps young people navigate life’s challenges.”
