Last November 16, I experienced my first Blogapalooza event. It’s a meeting of bloggers and businesses. It was held at the SMX Convention Center in SM Aura at Taguig.
Businesses have stalls where they showcase their products or give info about their products. Bloggers visits these stalls, try the different products so they can blog about. It’s a great way for both business owners and bloggers to interact and build relationships.
In addition, there are speakers lined up to talk about blogging related topics.
Early that morning I used GrabTaxi app and service to get a cab. Being one of the businesses supporting the event, they will give a P150 reimbursement for taxi ride to the venue if you use their Grab Taxi Apps.
After I arrived at the SMX Aura and completed the registration process, I located the GrabTaxi booth and gave them my receipt and they gave me Php 150 as reimbursement for using their Apps. GrabTaxi is one of the best option for a safe taxi ride it is well tracked.
Hungry, the stall that got my attention was the combined stall of Congo Grill and Tempura restaurants.

It was a very interesting day meeting different brands and listening to inspiring speakers.
The main highlight was that the event also raised Php 82,000 for the benefit of the victims of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) initiated by The Piggy Bank Movement and the amount was donated to World Vision.
Looking forward to next year’s Blogapalooza!!!
