- MPL Philippines Season 15 launches on 28 February 2025 with Twisted Minds and Aurora Gaming featured in the opener. For only PHP 200, tickets are on sale starting tomorrow, 14 February 2025, 3 pm.
- With the theme, “Heroes Within,” the season celebrates players, coaches, and the community who are part of the league’s victories as it becomes the country’s longest-running esports league and most-viewed esports program.
- The league garners immense support with the entry of the “Ultimate Indoor Family Entertainment Center” Timezone to provide thrilling on-ground and online experiences for MPL PH fans alongside longstanding partner Smart Communications, Inc and Infinix. Popular gaming chair brand TTRacing also joins the partners in esports.
MPL Philippines Season 15 Kicks Off with New Teams, Intense Rivalries, and Exciting Fan Experiences
The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) returns for Season 15, bringing major format changes, fierce rivalries, and new contenders to shake up the competition. Kicking off on February 28, 2025, at Green Sun Hotel, Makati, this season welcomes two new esports powerhouses—Twisted Minds (TWIS) and Team Falcons (FLCN)—alongside fresh and returning pro players and new brand partnerships.
The season opener will feature TWIS taking on Aurora Gaming (RORA) in a Best-of-Three (BO3) series at 5 PM, followed by a thrilling showdown between world champions ONIC Philippines (ONIC) and TNC Pro Team (TNC).

New Era, New Contenders, Fiercer Competitions
MPL PH Season 15 brings fresh teams, major roster shake-ups, and intense competition to the home of champions. Among the biggest changes this season, former AP Bren players have joined Saudi Arabia-based Team Falcons (FLCN), marking their highly anticipated league debut. Meanwhile, TNC Pro Team has undergone a major roster overhaul, welcoming Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, who makes his Philippine homecoming after playing as an import in Indonesia for the team formerly known as Aura Esports.
Defending world champions ONIC Philippines maintains its dominant roster while adding Jaylord “Hate” Gonzales as its sixth man. Meanwhile, Smart Omega continues to be led by veteran Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog, who is more determined than ever to bring home a championship.
“Ngayong season, mas double effort ako, dahil kinapos kami last season. Lahat kami ibibigay namin best namin para mabigyan lahat ng fans ng magandang laban,” said Ch4knu.
MPL PH Season 14 runner-up Aurora Gaming (RORA) retains its core five, while Team Liquid Philippines (TLPH) introduces its new Gold Laner, Kiel Calvin “OHEB” Soriano, famously known as “The Filipino Sniper.” The newly introduced Twisted Minds (TWIS) will be spearheaded by “KDA Machine” Salic “Hadji” Imam, bringing a wealth of experience to the squad.
Bigger, Bolder Brand Collaborations for the MPL Community
This season, fans—both onsite and online—can expect bigger and more immersive activations from official partners Smart Communications, Inc. and Infinix. Adding to the excitement, international family entertainment center Timezone and premium gaming chair brand TTRacing have also joined as new esports partners, enhancing the fan experience both in and out of the arena.
With stacked rosters, high-stakes rivalries, and game-changing collaborations, MPL PH Season 15 is set to deliver its most electrifying season yet!
Infinix is set to bring back MPL PH Infinix FANSiklaban for its second season, giving fans a chance to represent their MPL PH community in a weekly MLBB showdown with exciting prizes up for grabs. Meanwhile, Smart continues its MPL PH Battle Trips Program, inviting university students to participate in workshops on esports broadcasting, production, logistics, league operations, and journalism. MPL PH Season 15 also showcased its commitment to an open esports ecosystem, particularly for women and student gamers. The newly established professional MLBB women’s league, Athena League, will serve as the official qualifier for the upcoming MLBB Women’s Invitational at the Esports World Cup.
Furthermore, the MLBB Student Leaders Collegiate Cup (MCC), the official collegiate MLBB league in the Philippines, will now grant its champion a direct slot in the MLBB Development League (MDL) Philippines, creating a clearer path for student players to go pro.
