Overview
The DJI Mic, a comprehensive audio system that was introduced in October 2021, has now released a new version called DJI Mic (1 TX + 1 RX). This streamlined version is designed for on-the-go sound recording in a studio setting and includes one transmitter and one receiver. The transmitter and receiver come pre-paired and offer 5 and 5.5 hours of battery life, respectively. The devices have a range of up to 250 meters, making them truly wireless. The transmitter comes with an interchangeable input port that allows it to be attached to a smartphone via a USB-C or Lightning connector, as well as a hot shoe adapter for attaching to a camera. The receiver has a built-in magnetic clip system that allows it to be easily worn, eliminating the need for a wired lapel mic. The receiver also has 8GB of internal storage, allowing it to record up to 14 hours of 24-bit lossless audio.
