Misha De Leon, a former contestant from “Idol Philippines” season 2, has unveiled a reimagined rendition of “Dito Ba,” which is now part of the official soundtrack for “A Very Good Girl.”
This OPM (Original Pilipino Music) track, originally performed by Kuh Ledesma, reflects on one’s life journey, evoking a sense of incompleteness despite the changes experienced. The lyrics were crafted by George Canseco, while Kikx Salazar produced this remake.
Misha initially gained recognition as a contestant on “Idol Philippines” season 2, where she garnered praise for her renditions of “Oo” and “Sign of the Times.” Earlier this year, she marked her debut as a recording artist with her first single, “Damdamin,” which reached the fourth position on Spotify’s Equal Philippines chart.
Following her debut success, Misha released her second single, “Haging,” which was featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds Philippines and Equal Philippines playlists.
Meanwhile, “A Very Good Girl” presents a captivating narrative of two formidable women, featuring Kathryn Bernardo, Dolly De Leon, Angel Aquino, Jake Ejercito, Chie Filomeno, Gillian Vicencio, and Kaori Oinuma. The film is currently playing in cinemas nationwide.
